Completing the questionnaire
As the information
for each participant is entered during the registration process,
she or he will receive an e-mail message informing them about the
assessment being conducted for your company and inviting them to
go online and complete the questionnaire.
A link is provided
in the e-mail message that enables the participant to go directly
to the online questionnaire and begin entering their answers. Participants
may also login at the Solution Sage web site at www.solutionsage.com
by clicking on the Login button on the home page. Either way, the
participant will need their unique user ID and password contained
in the e-mail message. If a particular user does not have e-mail,
you will need to personally let him or her know about the assessment
and be sure arrangements are made for them to access the Solution
Sage web site and login with their user ID and password.
The assessment
questionnaire consists of 108 true/false statements. The participant
simply determines whether the statement is true or false and then
clicks on the corresponding answer. Each participant receives complete
instructions online before beginning the questionnaire. The instructions
cover a variety of situations including what do to if you don't
know an answer (take your best guess), how to change an answer and
what to do if you get interrupted before completing the questionnaire.
There are no
"right" or "wrong" answers. The best answer
to each true/false statement is the individual participant's perception
of its truth or falsity according his or her actual understanding
and point of view. Participants are instructed to determine whether
each statement is true or false based on their personal point of
view.
Participants
are encouraged to answer all 108 items, but are allowed to leave
up to 10 items blank. If more than 10 items are unanswered, that
participant's entire input cannot be included in the composite results
in the Solution Sage report. Experience shows that when a participant
has more than 10 unanswered items they are either not sufficiently
familiar with the company or are unwilling to share their perspective
about the company.
If the participant
is unable to finish answering the questionnaire in one session,
she or he may return at a later time, login with their user ID and
password and resume answering right where they left off.
